Individuals tend to be very different to each other yet they tend to live so closely to each other and react in a very similar way to each other. It would be safe to state that the individuals are so similar yet they tend to be different from each other in different contexts. The personality which the individual tends to craft are based on the norms, irrespective of the fact that norms are similar, the personalities of the individuals tends to be pole apart in some cases. However, the factor which tends to shape up the personality of the individuals tends to be identified as habits (Baron, 1982). However, in the context of the paper we intend to analyze the notion of habits through different perspectives in order to develop an effective and efficient understanding of the subject.

I am a 32 year old-parent, having three beautiful children, aged 17(boy), 13(boy) and a girl (7), it is not difficult for me to identify that my smoking habit is something that does not reflect properly on me, typically having children at their tender age. This is a serious concern to me as I developed this habit from my mother, who was a smoker. I do not want my children to be influenced by me, and adapt unhealthy habits. I was young and open to different experience at the time, being careless and impulsive I started smoking approximately twenty years from ago.
