Holding and weapon possession is not a new practice in America which was protected by the Second Amendment of American Constitution. There is huge support for strict laws of gun control in America. This is because there is high requirement for the strictness in gun laws in America to save the innocent lives. With less control and easy regulation on guns usage, there will be fewer lives at risk. The irresponsible citizens will be stooped by gun usage for fun and entertainment. Strict laws are needed for good gun control where there is a definite price for gun restrictions.

It is important to know that why gun laws are important now than they were before. Also, when the last constitution was made in 1787, there weren't much mass shootings and tragedies. There was not a huge requirement for the strictness in the gun control laws in America. It is also a question if the gun laws are protected under the 2nd Amendment. Strict gun laws are required to avoid mass shootings, such as one done in Sandy Hook Elementary School. This makes school shootings deadly. There must be a certain restriction on the models and types of the guns used by citizens (Kleck, 2006).
