Globalization has led to an increasing intensity of the movement of people and goods. It has a great significance for US along with its policy of strict gun control. In other words, the difference in legislation on gun control in different countries is a special reason for the difference in prices of the illegal arms trade. It is a fee for the current trend of propagation of weapons throughout the world, to transport weapons from countries with weak laws in countries. When the international movement of people and goods increases, it gives a double benefit for the convenience of the people who organize the purchase of weapons smuggling, and making it more difficult for the authorities to maintain effective inspection in order to detect and prevent a large entry of weapons. In order to attain a strict gun control, background check is necessary.

In order to carry a gun, at first it must be registered. Other than that, one who is allowed to carry a gun outside the place should protect their residence, workplace or elsewhere. Only, the authorities and institutions authorized by law can carry weapons permanently.

In order to carry a gun one must have knowledge regarding it, as well as physical and mental fitness, and have not been convicted of any crime or misconduct, or punished by the law on domestic violence, among other requirements.

Federal law prohibits possession of firearms to persons who are recognized by a court or other legal bodies, such as to pose a danger to themselves or others. Convicted criminals, fugitives and ladies with a record of drug addiction, are also prohibited from owning weapons (Rummel, 1994). According to new research, the vast majority of American gun owners and Americans in general, support tougher measures to prevent weapons falling into the hands of criminals. The mentally ill and person for possession of weapon is prohibited by law. According to a poll, eighty one percent of gun owners and 86 percent of Americans support the need to verify personal biographical data for all types of firearms regardless of the weapons purchased from a licensed dealer or private seller at the show of arms.
