Introduction

Greenwich considered as one of the most astonishing World Heritage Site in United Kingdom having number of different eye catching monuments. The purpose of writing this paper is to give the readers an overview of the Greenwich Tourism Resource ability in handling around 40, 000 tourists on daily basis that passed through or lived in Greenwich on daily basis. Similarly, the author covered the areas of preparation made by the Greenwich tourism department to handle such a huge number of tourists on daily basis. In the same way, the author covered the impact of tourist on the tourism resource of Greenwich; however, in the last half the author discussed some suggestion to enhance the tourism industry and also to cover the negative impacts by the huge amount of tourists.

The Greenwich Park

The Greenwich Park was built shortly before the outbreak of the hunt in Greenwich, so now it has become a symbol for the city. Today it is the largest park in terms of green space, covering 74 hectares and standing at the top of the Royal Parks. The Greenwich Park is one of the Royal Parks in London and opened its doors at 6 am for pedestrians and at 7 am for traffic, closing its doors after dark.

In the center of the park is located the hill where it is now the Royal Observatory, to the south is the home of the Rangers and Blackheat, west end streets with walks exclusively designed by the architect for this, to the north is the Queen's House, Greenwich Hospital and the National Maritime Museum and east Vanbrugh Castle. The park has a rectangular shape with an area of 1000 by 750 meters. The attractions in the park which currently are many due to large size of this one, for example, a lake in which boating takes place, or a child's playground located southeast of the park. There is also a garden with mazes and an herb garden. In the oldest part of the park is an oak tree, related to the royal family, and a room where you can watch wild deer. Another attraction of the park is to the rear of the observatory which houses a large flat green space allows families make a camping or theater groups perform outdoors. For this area, it is possible to move vehicular route and it is noteworthy that only you can stroll in car or motorcycle offseason, i.e. working days. Currently the park is under repair because it will host some games that will be held at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Today is Greenwich Hospital, Grennwich University, and before that, the Royal Naval College. It is noteworthy that in the park you can find many statues, some historical figures such as outside the observatory, a monument to James Wolf and Henry Moore statue can be admired from the tops of some of the hills east of the park.
