Globalization and its effect on a Security Manager

Introduction

Globalization is a social phenomenon that occurs on a global scale. This process consists of integration in economic, social, cultural and political development among countries. This is a relatively new concept, as established in the eighties of the twentieth century. It means combining and blending of economic systems, leading to the creation of international networks such as abolishing borders economic, social, and political issues. This is the result of complex processes in parallel on many levels and continents. At the same time through its deep roots in the civilization as a whole, you can talk about it in the context of such historical and socio-economic, cultural or any other so far (Kofman & Youngs, 2003).

Globalization changes the environment security; it does not eliminate disputes, conflicts or crises. Only gives them a new quality, a different character.

A closer analysis of the phenomenon, both in its economic and cultural dimensions, as in the political repercussions, indicates, however, that this interpretation is likely to be reductive, and to some extent even misleading (Kofman & Youngs, 2003).

On the one hand, globalizations is not necessarily move at the same speed and with the same consistency in all its dimensions ...
