The following paper aims to discuss globalization and how it has a significant effect on the educational policies of nations around the world and how various factors are inter related to each other where education is regarded as one of the most important elements shaping societies and the importance of globally established educational standards for bringing up the better youth.

Many societies across the world have developed good contacts with each other through integration. This has resulted in many changes in various areas like communication. For instance, many companies sell and manufacture their products in various countries in order to operate across the orders. Globalization has a major impact on the social, political, economic and the educational operations of any State. In education, globalization encompasses and expands the concept of exchanging ideas and knowing about various places. Globalization has a major impact on how businesses today operate. This has changed the way organizations hire and retain people, manufacture and distribute goods around the world and maintain a competitive advantage. All in all it has changed the concept of educating the people and imparting knowledge to everyone on the principles of equity where everyone gets a chance to be educated and be successful citizens of the world.

With the changing world forum and major changes in the educational sector around the world, it is necessary to develop an understanding of how globalization has a great impact on the educational policies and practices in the global arena. This may include the restructuring process, reformations, management, feminism and various other concepts. These concepts are faced on frequent bases that are inter-related to each other (Burbules, & Torres 2000). Globalization is considered as a driving force for many sectors including production and distribution of consumer goods. It thus also has a major effect on how educational policies are developed and implemented. With the changing business needs, globalization now requires that the employees of an organization must be well educated in order to remain competitive. The new skills that are acquired according to the new educational standards can prove to be beneficial for an organization.
