Introduction and Background

Nokia is one of the leading cell phone manufacturers and suppliers, which has been able to capture a huge target market and market share. it is one of the greatest competitor of the mobile phone industry, which is competing with other well-known companies. Over the past 150 years, Nokia has established its place in the market. It has evolved with the passage of time and has provided people with some of the most innovative and creative mobile phones. It is connecting over 2 billion people around the globe. Nokia came into being initially producing paper, which was considered as one of the most essential way of communicating in the history. It continued its efforts in keeping people connected with each other, and they evolved with the passage of time. As technology advanced with the passage of time, Nokia Company took advantage of it. In 1912, the boom of electronics came all over the world, and this took attention of Nokia Company as well (http://www.nokia.com/pk-en/).

The era of mobile phones came in 1979, and Nokia decided to enter in to this market. Time to time, the company brought changes in the products by adding attractive features and applications. They kept on launching different mobile sets, which were according to the technology advancements being brought in time to time. In 1992, Nokia Corporation had launched the first digital handheld GSM, and since then the CEO of the company decided that they will exclusively focus on the production of mobiles phones. They continuously analyzed and evaluated the needs and requirements of customers which kept on changing with the passage of time. Technology had brought evolution in the world, and it changed into the tech-world. they brought in different models of cell phones, made in different shapes and sizes. Then they added different useful and attractive applications in mobile phones, which helped in competing with the growing competition in the telecommunication industry.

They saw that mobile phones had become more than a necessity, and people were even using it for their time pass, fun and enjoyment. Nokia brought game applications which attracted people easily. The company is well-known as meeting the needs and desires of people and giving them with more that they desire. Till date, the company is involved in bringing reliable, innovative, creative and advanced mobile phones, which are user friendly. These mobile phones can be used by people of different ages easily as the company has not made any thing complicated.
