George Smith Patton, Jr. was born in 1885, and died in 1945. He was one of the best officers in the U.S. Army and recognized for his great management skills, unconventionality, plus for his contentious outspokenness, which he demonstrated while commanding forces and armies in world war II, being a general. He served United States army subsequently completing his degree from the United States Military College in 1909. He took part in pancho Villa Expedition which was done to conquer Mexican revolutionary but, U.S. army was unsuccessful in capturing the Mexican revolutionary. He was the first office who was assign to the U.S tank forces in World War I, and in World War II he charged the armies in three operations which were held in Northern Africa, Sicily, and the European Theater. George Smith Patton, Jr was the grandson of George Smith Patton. In 1864, his death occurred during the Civil war, in the battle of Opequon. Patton Jr. was born in the small town of San Gabriel. The Patton's were an wealthy household of Scots-Irish descent. Patton has the hobby of reading extensively in the masterpieces and soldierly antiquity. Education and early military service
He went to many military institutes to take education in the sector of serving the military of U.S. He went to Virginia Military Institute; he enrolled in U.S Military Academy and repeated the first year again, due to the reason of his poor performance in mathematics. The he participated in in the pentathlon in Stockholm in Summer Olympics in 1922. He once stuck in a pistol shooting controversy as well, while during the competition he claimed that he used .38 caliber pistols, whereas the rest of the competitors have used .22 caliber pistols. Due to this reason many of his shots were passes through the holes already placed by him. Unfortunately, the judges put the decision that he missed the targets. Patton did not complain.
