Earthquake, also known as tremor or temblor, is a consequence of sudden release of energy in the crust of earth, which ultimately creates seismic waves. As a matter of fact, seismicity or seismic activity of a particular area attributed to the frequency, type, and size of the earthquake happened over the period of time. Earthquakes are gauged through the indication from seismometers. Moreover, the moment magnitude is primarily the most common scale on which the earthquakes, having magnitude more than 5, are reported for the entire globe (Bath & Duda, 2011).
