Through many years sexual discriminations have raised in different context. Employees are discriminated, when asked gender based questions, during their jobs or interviews. Employers may not promote their employees by considering their genders. It may also include unequal payment to employees by following gender discrimination. People throughout the world do not focus gender as the thing of discrimination. Today, there are numerous women in the workforce as men. It is just the question that, one gender gets the equal amount of pay of same work or not. The question is not only about gender discrimination but, there is an issue of “Equal pay for equal work” (Armstrong, Pat and Kate Laxer, 2006). Women have been overlooked for decades for job advancements and, higher positions.

Women are also found to be most qualified in many workforces but, they may not promote to high and advance job positions because, of gender discrimination at workplaces. The reason being that, top management and employers feel fear to promote a woman because, they think that women have responsibilities of their families and children and, they will not show more interest towards high job positions as men are showing today. They also think women may miss time and other punctualities of job because, of their family issues, pregnancy and divorces.
This attitude of professionals in high workforce tends women to work harder than man but, they are not getting equally paid as men. Women are still trying to reach same positions of their co workers but, they have attained failures for many years. There is also a thought regarding a workforce woman that, she cannot deliver her 100 percent and, not a hard worker as man and, she may be overemotional when gets power. Researchers have made regarding these issues but, there is no answer of such questions and, no proof at all at workforces where women work harder than man. There is a fear in male employees and top management that, if woman may get power she will not be able to fire someone or take firm decisions. Research has shown that, those women who are in power are more skillful than man and, have decision making abilities.
