Facilities

Gatwick has two terminals:

The South Terminal (South Terminal), established in 1958 and expanded several times since;

The North Terminal (North Terminal), whose construction began in 1983, opened in 1988.

The two terminals are connected by monorail to the airport from London Gatwick, fully automated. Both runways are oriented generally east / west (08/26 in aeronautical terms) and are approximately 3300 and 2500 meters long. Both terminals offer a wide variety of services for passengers: shops, restaurants, business centres, conference rooms, entertainment. Many facilities are accessible to disabled people.
