Introduction

All the leaders of the states gathered together to form a new constitution where all the principles of the new nation will be governed and ruled. A strong and fair national government was needed to be made so that all the leaders of the states can protect the freedom of every individual and prevent the government from abusing the power.

Discussion

The delegates of the constitutional convention wanted to segregate all the power within the federal government. They thought that this power cannot be handled by just one branch of government or a group so a threat raised because of which the delegates thought is a minority group gains more power then it will be very difficult for United States to survive any longer. This may lead US under the rule of tyrant or dictatorship.

Separation of Powers was made to prevent any of the branches to become tyrant. It was supposed to have all of the branches are interlinked with each other and they won't surpass each other. The Congress has no worry's about any war, but it does what ever the presidents decides to do. Congress has handed over executive extraordinary powers to the branches. These powers are so strong that they can spy on any branch without warrant, deprive them of a lawyer , hold them without any charge and even physically torture them. The american is responsible for the failure of separation of powers.

Federalism Political system that allows United States to fall under the central government to manage the level of independence. Such as United States, Switzerland, Germany and India. The Central government has an authority of the supreme court, in any case the segment states hold a lot of self-governance in such matters as health and education.
