There is only one fruit shop which is 5 km away from the Dee Why beach. So peoples around Dee Why have to go 5 km away for shopping for the fresh fruits and vegetables.

As it can be analysed from the statistics that there has been heavy production fresh fruits in the country, which are also exported every year. Since, the project will be aimed to set up a fruit market business in Dee Why where currently the competitors are not close enough to serve the needs of people related to the consumption of fruits. So, this project will certainly benefit the local residents in many ways. For instance, the other fruit markets are at the distance of 5 Km from Dee Why at hence the travelling cost should also be added into the fruit price. In other words the total cost of fruit would also count the travelling cost to and from the local residency; the travelling distance in total will be 10km in real.
