Mary Shelley Wollstonecraft is a well known novelist who has written Romantic novels. In addition to this, he is popular in Britain as a great biographer and travel writer. Frankenstein is a novel written by Mary Shelley and is the most popular work of hers. An article has been selected for the purpose of critical analysis written by William Christies. Frankenstein is a novel that leaves the reader in a feeling of intrigue to know fully the intention and purpose behind writing the novel Frankenstein. His curious nature and his high ambitions made sure that he discovered something new; however, this passion of discovery caused him guilt and embarrassment. It describes how passion of people to progress in the field of science can also make them to feel guilty. The author points out different aspects in her analysis; however, the main point of the article or the thesis of the article is that the new version of Frankenstein, commonly known as the Modern Prometheus is well known by the people and they judge the novel from this aspect only.
The author is not completely wrong when she says this that a new and a modern version of the story is in the minds of the people.
