The Fourth world is defined as those regions in the world that are highly underdeveloped. It describes the areas that are stricken badly by poverty and are usually the parts of third world countries that are highly troubled in nature. The fourth world differs from the first, second and third world in the manner that a fourth world does not have any political relations and the life style is nomadic and survival based. The communities comprise of tribal nomadic who usually hunt and spend their lives. Though they are proper entities, but due to their life styles and their rejection of the modern world, they are categorized as fourth world. (Fesl, 1986)
Fourth world countries can be regarded as those that are considered excluded from the society. The people belonging to such groups are called aboriginal. These people have lived for a long time in Australia and South America (Gooda, 2010). Even today their tribes exist and they are living in the manners that are native only to their community. The rest of the world is alien to them and hence, they are labelled as fourth world as they tend to operate with any external help. Neither do they participate, nor consume anything that is a product of the modern world. Though in present day they are making milestones by their contributions in all kinds of fields, like politics, sports, ecomics and governmental departments.
The essay is going to incorporate a study about the aboriginal Australians and would discuss whether a 4th world Australia exists today or not. The essay would also incorporate a study about the factors and fields where the aboriginals are contributing and making Australia a better living place for the indigenous Australians.
