The automobile company, Ford Motors does not only have its operations and dealings in the manufacturing of automobile, but also Ford Motors is the US's top most auto finance company.

Ford is also associated with the world's top car rental company, and operates it by the name of Hertz. The company runs Mazda, with total of 33% stakes. Ford the automobile company does not only have its operations in US but, they also operate in Europe as well. The headquarters of the automobile company is situated in Dearborn Michigan. The company employed around 165,000 people. The financial state of the company can be gage by the record it sets in the fiscal year 2012, with the recorded sales of USD 189,955 million, which increases of 16% over the preceding years.

Ford says, “We are a global family with a proud heritage passionately committed to providing personal mobility for people around the world. We anticipate consumer need and deliver outstanding products and services that improve people's lives.”

However, ford is inclined towards their missing statement, as they are working with passion, and a dream to achieve the satisfaction of the consumers. However, they believe that their business if driven by customer orientation, and they focuses on creativity, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurial spirit, which is very important for anyone to be on the top of the list in a particular industry. They believe that their inspiration lies in the diverse team, and they respect and value their team's contribution, which is the biggest asset for them.

They have a firm believe over the notion that they are the leaders in the environment responsibility, and they never think to compromise on the contribution they make towards the betterment of the society, and moreover, continuously work and to strive their hard to improve, and fulfill the philosophies of the company, and provide maximum to the company's shareholders (Day, 2010).
