Food Microbiology Hand Washing and Cross Contamination
Abstract
The research aims at investigating the food microbiology hand washing and cross contamination as research is to investigate the spread of microorganisms from contaminated hands and the effect of washing the hands with soap. However the adherence towards washing the hands is still low and there is a need to increase the adherence of hand washing as identified in this research. The results had set the baseline strategy and the ways for promoting the adherence among the people.

Introduction
The hand washing prevent human beings from several diseases as it was observed by Hungarian physician Ignaz Semmelweis. The women gave birth with the support of midwives their children suffered from fever and the ratio of diseases is four time higher than the normal delivered babies. He observed that the physicians using the autopsies and other activities infecting the women in the hospitals. There are experiments conducted regarding the diseases as to reduce dramatic fever and the lives of the women are saved. The hand washing had a great impact upon development of the food borne diseases among human beings.
The outbreak of food borne disease is occurred because of the peer personal hygiene among the patients. The cross condemnation of the microorganisms that are acquired from the ready to eat food. The reasons there of regarding the developments of microorganisms depicts that the inappropriate handling of raw foods and improper hand washing microorganisms following visiting the toilet.
The microbes on fingertips can double after using the rest room as the public is not aware regarding the increasing microbes and the importance of hand washing in United States. The adults are infected with the outbreak of food borne disease and virus that results in the illness of their children. The cases of food poisoning are increased over the years and there are careful measures taken on the part of food safety department.
The society of microbiology (SGM) is working on this issue as to save the people from infected diseases. There are a number of scientists that work in this society and they have developed promotional schemes for public awareness. SGM provide complete support to the microbiologists as to cater this issue through the workshops, trainings and school activates as they appreciate teaches to participate in their awareness campaigns.
Objective
The aim of this research is to investigate the spread of microorganisms from contaminated hands and the effect of washing the hands with soap.
Methods
Telephonic interview were acquired to attain the data as telephonic interviews is a quantitative research technique that used to attain the data of the research. Data of the respondents were collected through the telephonic interviews and observations. The number of respondents that were observed from seven cities were 2,800 and 1,000 respondents were approached through the telephonic research.
