For me, as a young women of 23, and living in an environment of living life in the fast line, it becomes rather difficult to make way for cooking and eating at home in peace. Food consumption and eating patterns are amongst the most hard-to-maintain patterns and routine in a person's life. With a relatively sedentary lifestyle (eating and sitting), it becomes difficult to keep track of time, since working and studying do not go hand-in-hand. One can barely have proper, timely, filling meals, since being constantly on the go.
A major portion of diet runs on junk and fast food joints, with packaged meals and plastic coated edibles (Zhang, Ding & Song, 2006). Majority of these items are produced within the countries and also sharing with the countries from across the globe. As a person, I personally do not like organic food as it does not appeal to my taste; on an average, an estimated 75% of my family income is spent on food and edible items, which are consumed on a variety of occasions. For me, food is an essential component that individuals live for; food, along with telecom, energy and Pharma are amongst the four largest industries of the world, whose annual turnover over $1 trillion. Thus, majority income which is earned and expenditure that is spent circulated and generally revolve around these kinds of industries, specificallyfood, with reference to the situation mentioned above.
