ABSTRACT

The main focus of this research study is to examine the impact of flexible work arrangements on the job satisfaction and work life balance of chefs. The chefs have to work in a challenging environment. The work stress affects the chef's performance as well as they are unable to spend quality time with their family. This particular research study is intended to analyze flexible work arrangement has a close correlation between job satisfaction and work life balance among London luxury hotel chefs. For this particular research study quantitative research design is chosen because this research aims at examining the impact of flexible work arrangements for chefs of London luxury hotels. The quantitative research approach used different statistical techniques to examine the proposed research objective. A self-administered questionnaire is selected as the research instrument for this particular research study. The target audience of this research study are the chefs of London luxury hotels. The findings of questionnaire survey which is conducted with the chef's of London luxury hotels indicate that flexible working hours are helpful for the work life balance of chef. The research findings of this study indicate that the work life balance contributes towards chef's career growth; flexible working hours improve chef's work efficiency. The present study will fill the gap by exploring the possible links and assessing the cognitive-motivational processes with personality, performance discrepancy and work life balance.
