Introduction

Since ancient times, the seas were very important source for people who are fond of fishing. Currently world production of fish and marine animals is more than 75 million tons per year. About two-thirds of the production people are eating. The rest is processed into feed for livestock, fertilizer or fish oil used in the manufacture of paints, glue and soap. The seas are nearly fished out. Many fish stocks are on the brink of collapse. With a gigantic effort to penetrate high-tech fishing fleets off in increasingly remote areas, and plow through the oceans after the last feeding fish. The fishing methods employed demand a high price (Pastel, et.al, 2007). This paper aims to focus on the methods of fishing available to cater the general public and professionals' interest towards fishing.

Purpose and Target Audience

The main purpose of this paper is to find out the methods available for fishing and the target audience is the general publics who are fond of fishing and adopt it as their hobby. Secondly, it focuses on the audiences who are professional in the field of fishing and are equipped with modern technology and using modern methods for fishing. For the purpose of research on methods of fishing different books, articles and websites were used for more clarification on the content available.

Outline Flow

The flow of the presentation starts with the types of species of fishes. As fishing is the activity of capturing animal's aquatic in their natural environment (oceans, seas, rivers, ponds, and lakes). It is practiced by the fishermen, as a hobby or profession. Techniques and gear are many, depending on the species sought, middle, or the boat used. Fishing is most often framed by a regulation that tends to increase in order to best protect the biodiversity, the environment and fishery resources (a term that refers to knowledge of the biology and exploitation of resources fishing) (Pastel, et.al, 2007).

Secondly, the paper focuses on the types of fishing adopted by general public and the professionals. The variety of sea fishing in the river is generally on a criterion of water salinity, which causes particular distinction regulated differently. Around the world, the level of salinity of the waters is discussed which determines the legal regime between these two types of fishing. These types are professional fishing and Fishing for subsistence. For professional fishing worldwide, there are types of very different professional fishing, with methods ranging from crafts and more extensive, with more intensive and industrial. They correspond to different functions and activities (novice sailor, mechanic, boss etc), more or less dangerous and difficult depending on the types of fishing and geographic areas (Pastel, et.al, 2007).
