What technique(s) would you propose to the members of the groups?

The technique that would be proposed to the members of the groups for effective management of the project will be enacted through the steps of PERT planning. There are some useful steps through which the techniques will be proposed for the groups for project management. First of all, the activities and short term goals will be identified to the concerned members of the group. Then, a proper sequence for the performance of activities will be developed and then a network diagram will be created to inform the entire member about their core responsibilities. Further, the estimated time for the completion of each activity will be communicated to all the group members. A critical path will also be developed according to the estimated time and sequence of the activities included in the project. Finally, the PERT chart will be updated based on the progress of the project (Gibson, 2007). This is step by step techniques that will be proposed to the groups for effective management of the project.

How will the technique(s) you proposed overcome some of the concerns they have voiced?

The concerns that have been voice will be targeted to be overcome through the proposed technique. It will happen in a way because the steps that are involved in the proposed technique involve that proper planning will prevail and every member of the group will be informed about their respective activities. This approach will be a standardized approach that will reduce the period of time of the completion of activities and a critical path will be followed for effective management and analysis of the systems within the project.

What process will you use to decide on appropriate techniques?

The process that was followed for the selection of the technique for project management involved the analysis of the people involved in the project and the requirements of the project. Brainstorming was also done before the selection of the technique to think about the resources available and the targets to be achieved from the project.
