Introduction

The movie training day was an American movie about the crimes in the society. It deals with the dealing of criminals with the police department. It also focuses on the corruption of the police department. The story is all about the involvement of an agent in the dealing of drugs and illegal money. The cinematography was appraised by many critics of the movie. It indicates the involvement of police department in the world of crimes.

The dialog delivery and performance of both the major characters on which the whole movie depends was awesome. They truly give their best in this movie (Hurst, 2013). The story revolves around the plot of investigation of drugs dealings and also focuses upon the use of narcotics by the teenagers of the society. This movie also shows the loop and holes of the society and the reaction of the society towards criminal activities. The overall movie was watchable and all the critical analysis goes in favor of the movie. The critics of the movie give high ranking to this movie and this movie was one of the hits on the box office.

Storytelling

The narrative structure of the movies was well defined and the story of the movie connected from the incidents which helps the viewer to narrate and understand the movie completely (Hurst, 2013). The plot of the movie was in chronological order and all the theme of the movie was depend on this order. The incidents happen in a movie were in chronological order and it completely according to the story. The story takes place in a town of America where drugs and narcotics business is prevailing in the society.

The character Alanzo was the investigation officer and Jack was the person who is taking training of police from Alanzo. There is a conflict between two characters Alanzo and Jack about the illegal money and drug dealings (Clayton et al, 2013). The conflict was that, Jack does not want to participate in any kind of illegal activity but the officer Alanzo wants his contribution in dealing with illegal money. The conflict remains till the end of the movie and resolve with the death of Alanzo. The two characters faced difficulties on their own ends. The reason of the conflict was involvement of illegal business money.

The character Jack refused to take this money and want to survive in the police department with dignity. Symbolism is the method or technique to represent the story of the movie by means of some symbols. The plot of the movie contains symbolization of drugs and narcotics business. The business of these drugs involve huge amount of money and this money can be enough to purchase the honesty of any officer. The metaphor of the movies was two characters of the movie and the performance of police department. These two characters belong to police department but have different thoughts towards life.
