The movie seems to be an unbearably tense, timeless thriller. The major factor attracting towards the movie was the element of unpredictability, which keeps the interest and bonding with the movie high. The mystery attached with the odd motel is the real compulsion. At the same time, Perkins' mix of sociability and obsession is equally impressive, stimulating our ever-growing sense of restlessness. The acting in the movie has a little haggard feeling of old cinema, but the indubitably keeps hold of some humanity and naturalism.
