Fifth Business is a 1970 novel by Canadian novelist, critic, journalist, playwright and Professor Robert Davies. It is perhaps one of the most popular novels that a lot many writers considered to be Davies' finest piece.

It was the first part of the Deptford Trilogy which is the narration of the character named, Dunstan Ramsay.
