The freedom of women does not mean slavery of man; in the same way that men cannot be free if the dream continues to oppress women. Three articles regarding the feminism, its failure and needs of men regarding their wives are discussed in this paper.The Return of the House Wives

The discussion regarding the happiness of housewives and contentment of career women is going on for decades. Much research and studies have already been conducted on the topic. The Return of the Happy Housewives is another attempt to discover the differences among both kinds of women. The article is written by Charlotte Allen in which she has discussed the new study conducted by two sociologists of Virginia. The researchers have concluded that the housewives whose husbands are the earning source of the family lead more happy life than the working women. The ones who are completely homemaker and spend their time at home while making it worth living for children and her husband do not suffer from social problems which have no names. On the other hand the working women have to face different problems along with depression and stress of balancing the work and home.

The article has presented the figures published in the journal Social Forces according to which 52% housewives were happy at their homes and with their marriages in contrast to the 41% of working wives. Husbands want their wives to be supportive and understanding who can take care of their home and children well enough rather than ignoring them and spending most of the time outside home. The article says that Friedan suggested women to work on their own career as they are not some low class member of the society but she ignored the fact that men may have started participating in house chores with their wives but they do not want that to be done completely by them rather than their wives. Regarding this point she has given an example of a study of U.S which shows that wives whether working or housewives do 70% of housework in the country.

It is evident that every mother loves her children equally, but she has little time for herself and works for three. As a result, accumulates a lot of stress, they cannot even make it easier for the evening do, as this is after his workday cannot put yourself in their position. It's hard to feel equal when the life thereof, washes the dishes, changing diapers and other house chores.
