10 years from now, was the time which marked the launch of Paul Walker and Vin Diesel's careers in The Fast and the Furious. One would think that a franchise built only on cheesy dialogues and fast running cars would have shut down by the first part; however, the box office numbers suffice the fact that the fans of this series just cannot live without drooling over it. The thing which is most surprising about The Fast and the Furious 5 is that is it indeed the best movies compared to all the previous four movies. Although I also enjoyed the previous sequels of the movies, as well; however, they were nothing more than fun (Smith, 2011).
This sequel starts with a prolonged version of prison bus escape done by Dom Toretto, this was already shown as a hint in the end of the last sequel of The Fast and the Furious. In this sequel, the wanted escapee Toretto, the former FBI agent Brian O'Conner and Toretto's sister Mia are hiding in Rio de Janeiro. One of the most fantastic scenes of this sequel, in my opinion, is when these three try to steal some DEA seized cars and that too from a train in motion. However, things could not go well and few federal agents were killed in doing so. After this Luke Hobbs who is the most talented agent in arresting fugitives, enters in the sequel. It appeared that majority of the cars which were stolen belonged to a corrupt businessman Reyes and had a hidden chip inside which holds information about Reyes's place of hoarding his cash. Reyes wanted his chip back because it would have revealed his secrets in case this chip comes under the custody of FBI (Shoard, 2011).
