Introduction

Psychologists and sociologists have become more oriented towards the emerging concepts of family dynamics through which they identify the influence of families in shaping the development of a child and his overall personality considering its well being. This emerging trend and interest has been more encouraged by quick alterations in the structures of the family, worsening well being of disadvantages children and expanding poverty among children (Jesuit Social Services, n.d.). Several issues of behavior problems in children significantly are considered to be an important factor in the development of child and can also be implicated later on in later adult development of children, for instance; temper and tantrums in a child can eventually influence the development of a child and create problems in his future, e.g. separation among parents, divorce, erratic work lives and downward occupational mobility. This essay therefore, focuses on the family dynamics and considers the role if family structure, parenting styles and expectations in developing my childhood.

Discussion

There is a very strong role of family structures, parenting styles, involvement of caregivers and expectations in the development of a child. Formation of parental behavior, adjustment to parenthood is considered to be the main areas of personal development adult. The difficulty of this task is that it cannot be solved once and for all, as it grows, the role of the parent of the child growing up repeatedly modified, filled with new and new content. Recall that the main characteristic of the optimal position of the parent is considered to be adequate, flexibility and predictability. Strong bonding within the family (parent and children) gradually gets matures and develops.
