Thesis Statement

The wrong things in life are immortal and everyone who is indulged in wrong and impious acts shall be punished at the end.

Introduction

It can be seen that everything in life has an end and nothing lasts forever but the deeds of a human being. The story of Cinderella, a pious girl is one such example of the phenomenon which is briefly narrated in the following paper.

The Story of Cinderella

A woman on her deathbed calls upon her daughter and advises her to stay pious and good all her life. And after uttering these final words, she died. The girl followed her mother's advice and stayed pious. Soon, her father married again to a woman who already had two daughters who were very cruel. The cruel sisters took away all the good things of the poor child. She used to work all day and night. She had to get up at dawn, light the fires, carry water, wash and cook. The sister used to mock her all the time and tried to make her life as difficult as possible. And by the nightfall when she was extremely tired and weary, she did not had any bed to sleep into, as a matter of fact, she was left with no other choice but to sleep by the old fireside in the ashes.

Once, when the father was going to a fair, he asked all his daughters that what he should bring for them the two cruel sisters demanded that they want beautiful dresses and pearl and jewels but the poor girl said that she wanted her father to break off the first branch that would knock against his hat on his way back home. Therefore, the father bought pearls and jewels and beautiful dresses for the two sisters and on his way back, when a hazel twig knocked against his hat and knocked it off, he broke that twig away and took it home with him. Once he reached home, he gave the dresses and the jewelry to the two sisters and he handed the branch over to her daughter.

The girl took the branch and then she took it to the grave of her mother and planted the branch over it and then she cried so hard that her tears fell on the branch and watered it. Later, it grew and became a tree. A white bird used to sit on the tree and whenever the poor girl wished for anything, the bird would throw it down to her.

Once, the King arranged a festival in which all the beautiful girls were invited so that his son might choose a bride. The two sisters were very excited about the festival and they prepared themselves for it and wore the best dresses and jewelry. But they did not take the poor girl with them since she did not have any good clothes or jewelry with her and she did know how to ...
