INTRODUCTION
Paul not ever falls short to give functional submissions founded on the doctrine discussed. A Christian will not distinct doctrine from duty. Learning should be converted into living. In this part we will study relationships. To have a right connection with God we should have a right connection with our young individual man (1 Jn. 4:20). .
DISCUSSION
Our Relationship to God (12:1,2) - The Christian should be dedicated to God. This dedication engages three steps:
You give God your body (1) - It is our privilege to glorify and magnify Christ in our body (Phil. 1:20,21)
We are dwelling forfeitures for the Lord - in the likeness of Isaac and the Lord Himself.
We are to present our bodies one time and for all time. Why such a commitment? It is the only answer that supports what God has finished for us. It is our sensible service. .
You give Him your brain (2a) - The world uses out-of-doors force to change our minds, but God uses His force from within. God concerns this force through His Word. We should study it, memorize it and meditate on it. Then our brain will start to become more religious (2 Cor. 3:18). .
You give Him your will (2b)
Our brain controls our body and our will controls our mind. We should yield our will to God's, then His power can feed our willpower (and won't power!).
The major avenue to submitting our will to God is through prayer. "Not my will, but thy will be done." .
Our Relationship to Other Believers (3-16) - Each believer is a dwelling part of Christ's body. We each have some gift or presents that Christ can use to construct the church. What are the fundamental elements for our religious ministry and growth?
Honest evaluation (3) - We should understand our natural forces and accept them and use them for God's glory. We should discover from Moses' error (Ex. 4:1-13).
Faithful collaboration (4-8) - We should work together. Our natural forces should be melded to accomplish the best results. We should not exalt one overhead the other. Minimizing the natural forces of other ones while bragging of our own or bragging on other ones while brandishing untrue humility are two awful mind-set that the place of adoration will not tolerate. Our natural forces are devices to construct with, not playthings to play with or tools for fighting to battle with. We should work simultaneously and use our natural forces to make crop (Gal. 5:22-26). .
Loving participation (9-16)
Love is the circulatory scheme of the religious body, it permits constituents to function in a wholesome way. This love should be dependable modest and deferential (Phil. 2:1-4).
If we assist Christ, then we will be are against by Satan. We should stay steadfast. (12)
This love is after a handshake. It is problem distributing and good thing distributing amidst persons of all categories and all strolls of life.
Our Relationship to Our Enemies (17-21)
Obedience to Christ will make us some enemies. We should confirm that these are foes of ...
