2. Chart to Show the Five Areas of a Research Report

Figure 1: Research Areas of the Report

To present the research areas of Larsen et al., I have chosen pie chart and presented it through the percentage of research conducted in each area that are discussed below:

Background Information

The information presented in the article relates to pain and its significance in the patient. It also analyzed the reasons that exist for pain because of any surgery and chronic illness. It has also dealt with the measurement of the perception of patient that has received or those who receive treatment to believe. It results when a patient is sensitive to nursing. However, there are various limitations for such approaches. Further, an approach that can be used to assess the quality of care for the patient may affect the delivery of patient-centered care (Larsen et al. 2010).

Review of literature

This section describes especially about the pain that result from a patient who has sensitivity to care. In addition, it has discussed about the measurements about the quality of care that relates to management of pain. The conceptual framework is to establish a qualitative study. It has focused on the identification of the process and definitions, which are classified as high, variations between the satisfaction of reason, management of pain, and inclusion of pain (Larsen et al. 2010).

Methodology

In this article, the method that has been applied for research is that of validity. The methodology is dependent on three phases, which are focused on the development process of the instruments. In the first two phases, the recommendations are discussed that are made to establish content validity through the development and testing process. In the last phase, interviews have been discussed to assess the response actions. A prototype version of the tool is the result of each phase.

Data Analysis

The work analyzed the efforts to establish the validity of the survey PainCQ. The data analysis found support for the validity of the version 3 of the PainCQ. The PainCQ version (version 3, k = 44 points) is currently psychometric testing in a multicenter study.

Conclusion

The research on the development is an efficient tool that was designed useful in clinical practice and research. The final product will be positive in the hospital for evaluation and improvement of quality of care. The conclusion also offers advantages over the national level. PainCQ is a measure of the performance advantages ...
