Introduction

Human history has known a lot of examples where random event changed the course of the whole historical process. The story also knows many examples when the same random events prevented ready to change the reality in the development of history. Is it possible to somehow manipulate or influence the events around us? Or in nature, everything happens by itself, and people just have no power to change something, or something to influence? It can be said that things can be taken care of and events can be managed and carried out in an effective manner if proper measures are taken before the arrival of such an event. These measures can be planned and implemented succefully with the presence of a proper plan, which is also known as event management. Event management is the process of designing, planning and production of conferences, festivals, ceremonies, conventions or other meetings, each of which can have different purposes. It can be said that without the presence a plan for event management plan, an event can turn out into a disaster.

Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix is an event that is held every year in Australia. It is considered as a major event on the Formula 1 circuit (Hughes, Mark, 2011, p. 26-39). Due to the size of the event, it becomes essential for the organisers to make sure that all planning related to the management of the event has been done and implemented before the event, in order to make sure that no issues or problems come up during the event (Hughes, Mark, 2011, p. 26-39).

This paper focuses on the study and analysis of the different factors that were associated with the procedure for arranging the event of the 2011 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, which would include things like, technical and other requirements for the event, risks associated with the event and measures that were taken to avoid them, staffing requirements, budgetary requirements and the methods and techniques that were utilized for the promotion of this mega event on the Formula 1 Circuit.

Technical, Site and Other Logistical requirements of the event and How They Were Met

The entire technical, site and logistical requirements of the event were looked into before the event. Once all the requirements were listed, contracts were then given to different companies for fulfilling these requirements. The characteristics of the car were determined by technical regulations, which monitor the compliance of the stewards FIA (Noble, Jonathan, 2011, p. 16-18).

Formula 1 race car is a carbon fiber monocoque with four wheels located outside the body, of which the rear two are leading .
