Introduction

A bay parking is refer to a parameter of spaces for a number of vehicles in the parking. The term "parking bay", could also be termed as "reverse parking" which is general in the United Kingdom , where car driver must park in the bay in populated area, such as shopping mall, business district, and downtown. It is restricted because the space is limited; driver should take extraordinary care when parking their cars in the bay. There should have knowledge of back space, as individuals who pull in head initially will be partial vision if they try to standardize. The solution to a flawless car parking in bays is to keep a stable watch around your car, observance on the other vehicles and pedestrian and to keep a secure distance from cars on any side of your vehicle, and then you manoeuvre (Rodierm, Shaheen, 2004, p.2-4).

Discussion and Analysis

The bay parking videos are not similar to other videos as, there is no audio is these videos generally, or any sound effect. The video is a learning material through which people can learn different types of parking methods. However, it is not always that the driver can learn through watching the videos the practical experience is highly required for the proper parking. The parking should be learnt through the mean of these videos (Shaheen, Rodier, Eaken, 2005, p.2-8). The video is made from different camera angles, these camera angles are short, wide, long, etc. According to the parking of the car and space these camera angles are set. One parking experience should be taken from different camera angles so the proper interpretation could be given.

Reason behind Choosing Driving as a Subject

I have chosen the subject of driving as I think most of the viewers love to watch movies with different driving skills and scenes that would create interest for them. For the video name I went through a thorough brainstorming with my friends. After keen analysis I selected “Bay Park” manoeuvre as the name of the video. Most of the teenagers love to watch movies, which are based on some driving skills or in which adventurous driving scenes are shoot. This was the main reason behind selecting this theme for my video.

The importance of bay parking can never be denied as it is a driving skill that makes a driver confident. This type of driving skill helps the driver when he/she is parking in a supermarket or multi-storey car parks. Bay parking skill is as important as other driving skills like reverse to left and reverse to right (Colston, 1989, p.30).
