ABSTRACT
The study is about the evaluation of success factors for MNE's in the era of globalizations. The study also highlights the market expansion for the MNE's. The two firms that are being considered in this study are Vodafone and NTT DoCoMo. The methodology that is used in this study is mix methodology. The secondary data was collected from the annual reports of the companies, whereas the primary data was collected by conducting a survey questionnaire. The total no. of respondents is 30 and they are the resident of United Kingdom. The respondents were asked about their perception regarding globalization and market expansion. The globalisation becomes more and more frequent, whether to globalise is no longer an issue. Instead, how to successfully globalise is the key topic for today. The trend towards a global single market is inevitable and unstoppable which brings the importance of globalisation.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Background
In the past 25 years, telecommunications has come a long way from an industry with predictable linear behaviour, another sector tremendously complex, multifactor and unpredictable. Much of this complexity comes from phenomenon of globalization of economic activity and social change technology that drives it (Cohen 2005, 89- 120). We're talking about 1978, a time when all countries in the world operated monopolies offering a very limited range of services, focusing on fixed networks voice. Traders were barely internationalized, both in the capital, as in operations, with a strong integration with the upstream industry national. The demand for global services by multinational clients was scarce. In 2003, the landscape of the telecommunications sector has become as result of the overwhelming pace with advancing globalization of the sector (Brenkert 2007, 77-98).
The strong competitive telecommunications sector, arising as a result of liberalization process initiated in the mid-nineties, is the result of an agreement multilateral political most of the governments of the world around Agreements of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
