Euthanasia is amongst the leading controversy in the United States nowadays. The crux of the arguments related Euthanasia hover in between the right to die and the right to live should it be made legitimate or not? In the beginning, the expression Euthanasia proposed "a simple and gentle death." Even though, in today's world, it is the continuation of committing a hassle free death; however, the significance and viewpoints on Euthanasia are changing, calling it a gentle death, executing the finish of a life, so that a one-by-one from an intolerable suffering or an incurable infection can be issued. From time to the time, period is exploited by and large, in order to depict a death which is simple and without causing pain. Volunteering for euthanasia requires consent from either any family member or volunteer. Inert or harmful euthanasia comprises of not taking the measures which can prevent death, i.e. allowing someone easily pass away; on the other hand, positive euthanasia involves taking such measures, which calls upon for death (Adams, 1997).

Furthermore, euthanasia is recognized as 'mercy killing', and is derived from a Greek phrase meaning"a good death." Euthanasia can be segregated into a number of forms which includes; involuntary euthanasia, voluntary euthanasia, assisted suicide, non-voluntary euthanasia, euthanasia by omission and euthanasia by action. Amongst the myths associated with this phenomenon, one state that is that it allows patients to pass away peacefully while their families watch on; nevertheless, this is not true or exist in reality. A number of societies accepted various forms of euthanasia both lawfully and morally.

As coordinated beliefs related to euthanasia are increasing, the phenomenon is becoming ethically immoral and objectionable. Islam, Judaism, Christianity, and all other religions, which hold human life sacred, are not reluctant to accuse this phenomenon in any form. Complying with the religious values, laws in the Western part of the world, consider the proceeds of helping somebody to pass away, a model of homicide, which if committed is subject to lawful actions. Yet an inert maintenance to help to avert is an act which have serious punishments in the Western law. Although, this phenomenon does not occur openly in all societies, it takes place even in those societies which consider euthanasia as an unethical and illegal act (Brody, 1988).
