Introduction

Ethiopia, officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, formerly known as Abyssinia, is a country located in the Horn of Africa. It is the second most populous country in Africa after Nigeria and ahead of Egypt. Ethiopia is bordered on the north by Eritrea, on the northeast by Djibouti, on the east by Somalia, on the south to Kenya and on the west, by Sudan and Southern Sudan. It is also the second oldest nation in the world to adopt Christianity as state religion after Armenia, however, was the first kingdom to adopt Christianity, one Israeli source monarchy. In addition, Ethiopia was a member of the League of Nations, signed the United Nations Declaration in 1942, founded the UN headquarters in Africa, was one of the 51 original members of the United Nations and is one of the founding members of the former OAU ??and current AU. Its capital and largest city and is populated Addis Ababa.

With three billion dollars for 2008 alone, Ethiopia is one of the largest recipients of development aid in the world. The World Bank and donor countries provide direct support to districts for basic services such as medical care, education, agriculture and water, and they support a program called "food against work" for the most needy, representing hundreds of people in the country. This research paper will look into different perspectives of human and political rights of Ethiopia along with providing a description of arioso customs and traditions that are exercised in the country. In the end, the paper will look into the media tendencies, characteristics and cultural distinctiveness of the country, in order to see different practices in the context of the United Nations as compared to those which are actually being exercised in Ethiopia (Report of the United Nations Commission).

Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the Bill of Rights is an international declaration adopted by the United Nations December 10 1948 at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris. Declaration speaks of the opinion of the United Nations on human rights protected in all people.
