1Ethical Issues relating to marketing and advertising, intellectual property and regulation of product safety

Ethics refers to the morally right principles that exist in the workplace. There are certain codes of criteria that need to examine while catering ethical issues in the corporate world. These codes of ethics are according to the company policy, and the responsibility of employees is to be understood on the part of the employer. Their supervisor provides guidance related to code of ethics of a company (Deans, 2008).

Ethical Issues relating to regulation of product safety

In the ethical issues related to product safety is something authoritative. In the light of the Pharmacy case, the substandard products that used by Pharmaceuticals should be highly prohibited. In the business, there is no moral reason for performance of a person in a particular situation. So the company wants to discuss moral codes and reinforce the employees upon adopting moral code in the business. Overall in the ethical code of business the requirements such as respecting others, avoiding conflicts and performance of an employee that is misconduct of an employee that happens within the company are the primary concerns that need to be addressed in the pharmaceutical industry (Slovakia, 2012).

Ethical Issues relating to marketing and advertising

The ethical considerations related to marketing and advertising of PharmaCARE includes the availability of free and discounted drugs that are given to the low income earning consumers. PharmaCARE also sponsors the healthcare educational programs and the scholarships in order to advertise the business for creating awareness. PharmaCARE launched a new product with the name of “We CARE about YOUR World®”. It serves to give people with eco-friendly and safe environment through the recycling of waste, changing the packaging and its appearance with the use of different marketing mix strategies and other green initiatives such as offsetting the greenhouse gases from the gas produced from cars, cutting of the trees and clearing out the droughty areas (CERCLA).

Ethical Issues relating to intellectual property

The ethical issues related to intellectual property in PharmaCARE is that the company is the property of directors and employees are working in the business. So the employees have pointed out the fault that exists in a lab situation so in order to do illegal operation the director had decided to fire employees. This performance of directors is against moral codes that exist in the company. There is some integrity of the employees when their hire in the company; they cannot be fire if they are seeking the truth regarding company mistake (Slovakia, 2012).
