Who Inspires Me and the Word I Gave You

Introduction Like every other person, distinct elements influence my ethics. My parents, teachers, and friends made up these elements which are ingrained in my personality. However, the need is to implement these behaviors to have a better understanding of personal and professional ethics. This paper discusses some of the ethical considerations that help making an inspiring personality.RespectConsidering Others' OpinionAn opinion is the belief a person keeps. However, the beliefs may vary depending on the person's preferences and cultural background. In my opinion, it is not an informal art as it requires self control, self esteem, tolerance, sensitivity and fairness. People show disrespect for other for at least two ways. The first is by telling that their opinion is worthless and crazy. The second is by assuming that what one thinks should be shared by others. However, ethics emphasize on showing respect and consideration for others right to express themselves (Shaw, 2010).Respect as a Hard Work and Reaching GoalsRespect is difficult cognitively because the various connections between others opinions and respecting them are difficult to understand. The behavioral difficulty arises because the demonstration of respect with different types of people requires the understanding of how the behaviors are interpreted. In my opinion, the experience of disrespect is exacerbated if there is the history of bad feelings among groups and individuals. Emotional barriers to respect may arise when the people share different opinions than my own. It involves people's learning and understanding of the ethical values from their early development.
