Introduction

The following paper consists of three parts. In the first part of the paper, it discusses about the brief discussion about the authors Ruth Benedict and Christina Hoff Sommer. In the second part of the paper, which is discussion, describes about the Ruth Culture and Hoff Sommers statements. In the last paper personal opinion a daily life examples are discussed along with brief summary of this paper.

Ruth Benedict (1887 - 1948), leading anthologist of United States of America taught at University of Columbia and she was well known for her famous book “Pattern on Culture (1935)”. Ruth Benedict has reviewed various communities along with common practices and beliefs that became incorporated patterns of ideas and practices. (Benedict, 1967)

Christina Hoff Sommers was born in 1950. She was one of the well known authors of America because of her well known critique in the late nineteenth century feminism. She was also a former professor of ethics in (Sommers, 1984)United States of America. Her most of the writings and critics reflects the anti feminist and she also though about herself as an equity feminist who herself faults contemporary feminism for her “irrational hostility” to men, inability to take serious possibility about that the sexes are equal but different and the recklessness with the statistics and facts. As one of her quote is given below this reflects the anti feminist factors in her critics.

“Girls are more academically powerful. They make the grades, they run the student activities, and they are valedictorians”

Ruth Benedict

According to her the morality is based on the different histories and different cultures. According to Ruth Benedict, it has been made many different relations to ethics rather than in the relation to the psychiatry. Individual cannot make the mistakes in order to derive morality for the longer period of time of locality and the decades that are directly predictable constitution and the nature of human being. “It is morally good” has always been used by the mankind instead of saying “it is habitual.” The concept of the normal is appropriately alternative of the idea of the goods. It is that which social order has been endorsed or approved. An ordinary activity is one which falls well inside the limits of expected conduct and behavior for a specific social order. Its variability around distinctive individuals is basically a capacity of the variability of the conduct examples that diverse social orders have made for themselves, and can never be wholly separated from an attention of socially regulated sorts of conduct. Every society is a give or take expand working-out of the probabilities of the portion it has picked. In so far as a development is overall joined and unwavering inside itself, it will have a tendency to convey more distant and more remote, consistent with its (Krausz, 1989) inclination, it's starting motivation to a specific sort of activity, and from the perspective of any possible society those elaborations will incorporate more great and institutionalized behaviors.
