The United States Air Force Academy is situated in Colorado; furthermore it is a U.S military academy. It is considered as one of the most prestigious military schools in U.S. It is responsible for the training of officers of the USAF. The mission of the academy is "To educate, train and inspire men and women to become officers of character motivated to lead the United States Air Force in service to our nation. The Air Force Academy is an institution for training academic commissioned officers to the Air Force. It was created by a decree of Congress in 1954 and inaugurated in 1955. The academy itself focuses on producing the individual who are capable enough to respond effectively and efficiently in time in order to safeguard the motherland (Henry, 2010). Thus, in the context of the paper we intend to shed light on ethical responsibilities of teachers/instructors and/or educational leaders in the United States Air force Academy. It would be done through different perspectives in order to develop an effective and efficient understanding of the subject.
Discussion
Education played a special role in the academy life because the main purpose of the academy is to give the officers a proper educational environment. Therefore, values is something that education professionals have always continue to do and can never stop doing. All educational activities in the academy already have value-laden activities, carried by implicit values. Moreover, the result academy has produced is because of the ethics inculcated in the spirit of the academy.
