Ethical Issues a Major Concern in Organizations

Ethical issues can arise in almost any aspect of a fundraiser's daily work. There are some areas in particular where one is most likely to encounter ethical dilemmas: relationships, privacy and confidentiality, tainted money, compensation, conflicts of interest, and transparency and disclosure. The ability of the higher management to make the decision is not only affected by his ethical values but also affected by the overall societal ethical values. Respect of the others must be considered in decision making process that improves the self esteem and the willingness to move in the direction of the strategy that is in the process of formulation. Management should give the chance to employee to participate in decision making process and consider their feelings emotions, since the management's job to make decision and then implement it on the people but if this decision is not acceptable by the employees then it cannot be implemented in any organization. Strategies are nothing if they are not implemented and they can only be implemented if such strategies are acceptable morally and socially (Hartley, 2008).

Further, ethical issues can range from workforce diversity within an organization to technological knowledge of the employees. Business ethics is a bridge to the future of the company, lived as a culture where all members find meaning in his life, between man and company's future business between the organization and the challenges of progress. However, we believe that employees have a right to participate in decisions relating to their own work, health and safety. This is not only ethically right, but it also makes good business sense.
