Introduction

Ethical decision making is not very common nowadays. People in the world today do not take decisions that are ethical, but ensure that their interest is fulfilled in that decision. Ethics in today's world is something that not everyone is aware of, and people who are aware of it do not consider it an important part of their life. Ethical decision making should not only be considered in business setting, but is also an essential part of the personal life. This paper will discuss two different articles that talk about how ethical decision making is being ignored in the business setting.

Discussion

The first article, 'Who's with Me; False Consensus and Ethical Decision Making' talks about how people get influenced negatively if the decision that is to be taken involves them or their interest. People should be aware of the biases that they consider while taking decisions. In this article, the role of social network and the influence of peers have been discussed. According to this article, people who are using the social network are more connected to the happenings of their organization and ensure that they know each and everything that is going on in the company (Flynn & Wiltermuth, 2009).

People, who are connected to each other by means of social network, ensure that they influence the decision that is being taken in the company. They also make sure that the decision that is to be taken is in their best interest. When they are connected, they have the advantage of influencing people as they have complete knowledge about their company and the issues on which decision has to be taken.
