Abstract

The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of knowledge by exploring some relevant and factual information relating to the analysis of Project Management Techniques adapted by a construction company. In this study, the author has examined the Project Management techniques and strategies followed by Nicholson Construction Company. The construction company is involved in designing, construction, restoration and renovation of property. The technical staff of the company covers all stages of the building process: design, construction, renovation, operation and maintenance of the property. The construction is divided into three stages: raw state, the work of development and turnkey works. Nicholson Construction Company has recently undertaken a new project of designing a small town aimed at providing accommodation facilities to 30, 000 people. The project will be having unique characteristics in terms of size and municipal facilities as well as an extraordinary environment friendly architecture.

The construction company is involved in designing, construction, restoration and renovation of property. The work executed at Nicholson Construction Company is based on the extensive experience accumulated in the techniques and knowledge aimed at the construction of a building.
