The fossil fuels are becoming faster; the price of a barrel of oil continues to rise. There will come a point where the energy of today, will be exhausted. Fortunately, there is already plenty of research into alternative methods of generating energy. There are many alternatives to fossil fuel that can reduce the negative effects of fossil fuel including solar energy, hydro power, nuclear energy, hydrogen fusion, biomass energy and tidal and thermal energy of the oceans.
Substitutes of Fossil Fuel
Solar Energy
This will be the most likely replacement of fossil fuels. It can be widely collected, in America, for example hectares filled with solar panels that convert energy. All forms of energy on the sun come down, so it will not move when the wind is not warmed by the sun and so would the fossil fuels are never arise. It is expected that even cars powered by solar energy will come and now satellites in space can be equipped with solar energy (Wang, et al., 2011).
Hydropower
This system is often used in the mountains. The disadvantage is that the river, the lower you go, it contains less water. This can be remedied by the construction of a reservoir. This way of generating energy is inexhaustible and therefore a good substitute for fossil fuels. The system can also be applied by means of a dam (www.planetseed.com, 2012).
Nuclear energy
In this form of energy can generate significant amounts of energy generated. It means that the splitting of uranium creates so much energy that we can make even weapons. The advantage of this energy source is that it is not very expensive and the disadvantage is that uranium and depletable substance and therefore can hit like oil, it is also very harmful waste and must be carefully stowed (Sovacool, ...
