Question 01

The workflow issue that I plan to address for my course project is a plan for the EPIC Gap analysis. Like every organization, the organizations dealing in medical sciences too need to create, save and manage computer processed files related to the information of an individual's personal health. The maintainance of these records require efficient pathways to be maintained for ensuring easy access to medical records, outpatient, medical history, a variety of image information and related medication information tracking whenever rquired (National Institutes of Health National Center for Research Resources, 2006).

Question 02

Currently, the medical reconciliation tends to ecperience numerous challenges in the maintainance of digital records, particularly regarding the listing of medication that a paticular patient uses. This problem arises due to the complex brand and generic names of these medications. Additionally, keeping a record of the prescriber and efficiency quicksand becomes difficult without the availability of a service which can maintain these records efficiently in a way that they can be accessed easily whenever required. With the introduction of Electronic Health Record (EHRs), the system of this information storage and retrieval can be improved remarkably without any clunky interfaces. Furthermore, owing to their digital nature, these records can be updated easily to incorporate and analyse the course of treatment of a particular patient. Also, the maintainance of these records would help the common patients in accessing expert's advice for their healthy life and reliable protection from potential threats (Rowley, 2012).

Question 03

With the efficient maintainance of Electronic Health Records, the acounts of information for every individual patient can be easily integrated into the daily practice of the medical and health institutions.
