This paper will elucidate upon the notion that how environmental sustainability strategies helps guide decision makers in uncertain operations and policies. Environmental Sustainability has become an extensively used jargon in the business market (Darnall, N, et al. 2008). It involves that a particular organization has the ability to efficiently administer and organize the impairments imposes upon the natural atmosphere by its production procedures, goods and trade models.

Discussion

There are various approaches available, in the literary discourse of corporate governance and environmental management, about the environmental sustainability (Darnall, N, et al. 2008). Some approaches take the root of risk management; where decision makers got guided about managing the consequence of the environmental risk, which develop from either production, goods or other business practices (Tilleman, S. 2012). In such approaches, organizations do not really consider the extent of the consequence generated rather focus on different policies to tackle that situation. It usually depends upon the nature of the business, where some organizations cannot operate without harming the global environment. Consider the example of petroleum organization; these organizations releases humongous toxic in the atmosphere, which greatly harm the global environment. Nevertheless, they cannot operate without these processes.
