This paper provides the summary of the article “The Risk of West Nile Virus Infection Is Associated with Combined Sewer Overflow Streams in Urban Atlanta, Georgia, USA”. The factors which favor the amplification and transmission of West Nile Virus are not implicited well. In Georgia, the water streams get polluted by the combined sewerage flow which results in the emergence of WNV mosquito vector Culex quinquefasciatus. Therefore, this increases risk for human and birds to get affected by the infection.
