Conservation Movement and in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century in the United States

Conservation movement was one of the most prominent movements in the history of the United States. With the help of this movement, steps were taken to make sure that the environment in which people work is friendly by assuring that the natural resources are conserved. For this, steps were taken to ensure that an environmental, social and political movement is initiated that will not only help the humans, but will also make sure that the animals and plants live in a green and appropriate environment.

The conservation movement turned into a national problem in the late nineteenth and the early eighteenth century. The main aim of the movement was to ensure that the movement focuses on the problems related to the big organization and will be catered by the state government and the federal government. With the help of this movement, the government took measures to make sure that it is able to build parks and other recreational venues that contribute to the environment and that help the people to live in a better and peaceful place (Nash, 2001).

A number of factors were taken into consideration by the government and this helped the country to implement the conservation movement and help it in knowing as to how important and essential it is to ensure that the environment is friendly and helps the people to live in a similar manner. The Progressive era was the one where this movement was taken positively and where it was implemented in such a manner which helped the environment and made sure that the people are able to take advantage of the whole situation. In addition to this, this era helped in bringing reforms in the American society such as food and safety regulation, women's suffrage, child labor laws etc. The environmental laws and regulations presented helped the people to lead a life that the is better for them and that will prove to be effective for their daily activities.

As the population of the city increase, the citizens started to look for places that were peaceful and helped them in spending their leisure time in an appropriate manner.
