Introduction

This paper intends to discuss the significance of the real world entrepreneurs. The different business innovators are essentially important to analyze while discussing the entrepreneurship and its relevant aspects. This paper will analyze various important skills important for the entrepreneurs to practice. Becoming successful entrepreneurs requires exceptional networking, consulting and socializing skills; therefore, an in depth analysis of all the various skills will remain an integral part of this paper. Also, the paper will thoroughly analyze the different skills and competencies which are important to make an entrepreneur successful. The underlying advantages which make the entrepreneurship more useful and profitable over becoming an employee or professionals will also be discussed in this paper. Becoming entrepreneurs require differential personality characteristics which are outlined throughout this module.

The promotion of individual creativity remains important aspect of the personality characteristics which remain significant to the entrepreneurial success. The basic purpose of this paper is to discover the local entrepreneurs and their underlying matching personality attributes. Also, the personality attributes of entrepreneurs will be analyzed. The paper will revolve around the interview of Mr. Phil who is an entrepreneur and managing director of PSA Consultant. The PSA Consultant is essentially involved within different ranges of the infrastructure services and other relevant future planning operations. The company is essentially working in the guidance of the Brisbane City Council. The paper will evaluate the interview of Mr. Phil and his concepts of entrepreneurship. The concepts of Mr. Phil will provide the readers an underlying idea about what entrepreneurship is and how successful entrepreneurs are made.

Identification of a Successful Entrepreneur

Successful entrepreneurs require a special skill set. Not every person who starts a business gets successful and earns huge profits and reputation. Therefore, it was important to identify a local individual who is essentially a successful entrepreneur. For the purpose of this paper, I have selected Mr. Phil of PSA Consulting to be interviewed. PSA Consulting is an innovative and dynamic Australian planning and engineering consultancy. They work in partnership with state and local governments as well as the private sector to deliver integrated planning services, which are practical, sustainable and financially viable (PSA, n.d.).

Running the business of consultations successfully is not an easy task to maintain. Mr. Phil seems to possess underlying competencies which remain essentially important for the success of entrepreneurs. I have selected Mr. Phil for the purpose of this interview report mainly because I found Mr. Phil extremely enthusiastic and energetic about making his business a success. Also, as I had to choose someone from the consultancy side of the business, I found the business of Mr. Phil extremely relevant to my project and my career path ahead. Therefore, the identification of Mr. Phil as a successful entrepreneur and an underlying interviewee makes sense to this project.
