Research Question

What is the role of the engineering management in improving the selection and recruitment process in the human resource?

Is the selection and recruitment process in Saudi government agencies need to be improving?

How can the engineering management improve the selection and recruitment process in the Human Resource departments for the Saudi government agencies?

Methodology

Research design

One of the main advantages of using quantitative research synthesis approach: because the research results obtained by opening the hard facts, the same research methods and results can be generalized. In short, this approach is applicable to many other situations because of its objectivity and be free from values. With regard to the qualitative approach of research, one of its main advantages is that it emphasizes the point of view of the researcher in the research process and its results. In addition, qualitative research include interpersonal, social and cultural contexts of project management more fully than the quantitative approach of research. Because the point of view, the researcher takes a central role in the research process, the researcher provides a much richer and more significant compared to the description, that a quantitative approach studies provide.

Although the two research approaches and their respective type queries provide tremendous advantages to researchers who use them, there are several limitations that should be considered. One criticism of quantitative approaches to the study of this point of view, the researcher is not considered to explain the research. It is clear that there are limitations in the numerical presentation of the complexity of human behavior. Quantitative research approach often has difficulty in expressing problems especially if the researcher has to deal with the psychological aspects of human beings. Ultimately, even if the quantitative approach of research looking for objective value, the complexity of society, changes over time, and cultural differences make it impossible for all the studies, the value-neutral. In fact, it is discussed whether the neutral research value even exists in a complex modern society.

While the quantitative approach provides a generalization of research, it is difficult to generalize qualitative research approach to study other options mainly because it limited the unique perspective of the researcher. In other words, the theoretical models developed for one research project it is difficult to generalize to other research projects.
