Project Planning and Organisational Models in Engineering Consulting Industry

Introduction

The project planning are the initial phases or pre-development activities of the project itself. The definition is the preliminary phase of this process and includes, in particular, the activities of the project and the task of getting it accepted, presenting an acceptable proposal (Cowles, 2010). In addition, this phase also involves presenting more details of the project to prepare the ground for the planning stage, which defines the strategy for organisational models to achieve the objectives (Xiaolin, 2011). The next stages represent the body of work to be carried out towards the development of the final result of the project which can be a written report, a documented software program, a new algorithm model, a search for information or a case study. The product represents, in short, the expected outcome of the project.

The initiation of project planning involves the activities necessary to start work, in particular the student to establish a work routine (Eisner, 2008). Typically, it includes comprehensive literature search of the documentation necessary for the later development. If working in groups, it will have to share tasks and organise some way for equipments in the consulting sector (Valtonen & Leppanen, 2010). Once the project is organised and implemented, it will have to control their evolution. The last stage of any project is completion, which involves writing a report or tests of all programs, and review the documentation associated with them. 

Planning and model formation in a project only identifies the basic phases of the project. Thus, the project planning is done on prior to the development. Decisions are made about the direction and about what to do about once the completion of the current phase of work is completed (Li, 2010). Thus, the details of the advance planning and recede like a wave and the planners are forced to make decisions about the direction to take and what to do next. Since a basic planning framework can be quite large, it can even serve multiple projects (Tohidi, 2011). Although it is of little use to have no idea of what you want to do, it is possible to identify universal benchmarks useful for any project.

To identify the techniques that are essential for project planning in engineering consulting industry
